We Believe In

  • Strong but limited government.
  • Individual responsibility.
  • Equal opportunity for all by protecting the rights of citizens.
  • Elected officials that provide competent leadership, and fiscal prudence, in stewarding the growth of Ontario into the future.
The Local Election Process
  • Prospective Candidates for Town positions compete at the Ontario Caucus to secure a position on the November Ballot.
  • After the caucus, our Committee helps the chosen candidates with respect to legal requirements, yard signs, advertising, and with campaigns.
  • Funding is provided thru a combination of the Candidate, and Committee dollars.
  • The State Board of Elections requires filing of financial data during the campaign (which the Committee Treasurer takes care of).
Committee Responsibilities
  • Post positions open for Town November elections
  • Seek and vet viable candidates for nomination at the Town Caucus.
  • Place Caucus Legal Notices in local publications as required
  • Orchestrate a Caucus following legal guidelines and ensuring an uncontested system of voting
  • Offer experience to help the Candidate Elects Campaign
  • Fundraise/solicit funds for Campaigns
  • Comply with all filing requirements of the State Board of Elections
